Please help us to run the best energy event possible on the 17th April!
Dear Peckham Power supporter,
We are organising a free event for the 17th April in Peckham and we'd really appreciate your help on the day. You'll get free refreshments and there should be some freebees from some of the exhibits as well. The event will be held at Area 10 (behind Peckham Library) on Saturday 17th April. The event will provide practical advice for people who want to manage their energy consumption as smartly as possible. We could really do with help with any (or all!) of the following:
- setup at 12pm (members of the public will start arriving at 2pm)
- to assist in running the exhibits, e.g:
- draught busting exhibit
- driving simulator (to help people understand how to drive efficiently)
- loft insulation exhibit
- Dr. Bike
- to supervise the tea and coffee (we will take turns during the day)
- to help pack up at 6pm
Any help would be really appreciated as Peckham Power is entirely driven by local volunteers. We hope the event on the 17th will encourage Peckham residents to use energy as wisely as possible, thus helping to reduce fuel poverty, reduce Peckham's CO2 emissions and increase resilience against energy price rises. We can only do this with help from our supporters.
Please email info [at] peckhampower [dot] org to volunteer.
Many thanks,
Jack
